HI MY NAME IS ANN CARRINGTON I AM 20 YEARS OLD AND AM A SINGLE MOTHER OF A ONE YEAR OLD SON AND AM CURRENTLY PREGANT NOW. I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF SOME WHERE TO LIVE. I LIVE IN LAWRENCEBURG INDIANA AND THERE ARE ONLY TWO LOW INCOME HOUSING APARTMENT COMPLEXES HERE AND THEY ARE NO OPENINGS I HAVE BEEN ON HTERE LISTS FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN EVICTED FROM MY APARTMENT DUE TO THE FACT I CANNOT AFFORD A 500 DOLLAR RENT A MONTH. I TRIED GOING TO SCHOOL AND WORK BUT DO NOT HAVE A BABY SITTER. I HAVE RECENTLY FOUND A TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT FOR 300 DOLLARS A MONTH. BUT I HAVE TO HAVE THE 300 DOLLAR DEPOSIT AND 300 DOLLAR FIRST MONTHS RENT I CANNOT AFFORD THAT RIGHT NOW. IF I WAS ABLE TO MOVE INTO THE APARTMENT I WOULD BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE RENT WITH MY WELFARE CHECK AND THE TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS I RECIEVE IN CHILD SUPPORT A MONTH. AS SOON AS I GET SETTLED INTO SOMEWHERRE STABLE FOR ME AND MY SON I WILL BE WORKING AND WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD DAY CARE. I ALSO DO NOT HAVE A CAR AND ITS SO HARD TO JUST DO SIMPLE THINGS LIKE TAKING MY SON TO THE DOCTOR OR GOING GROCERY SHOPPING. I HAVE NO ONE TO HELP ME. I WAS IN FOSTER HOMES GROWING UP AND NOW HAVE NO ONE TO DEPEND ON. IF ANYONE HAS A GOOD CHEAP CAR PLEASE HELP ME.
